Selangor Youth Community (SAY) was founded in 2017 by His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Raja Muda of Selangor. As a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organisation, SAY is committed to nurturing a dynamic, progressive, and empowered youth community through impactful programmes that foster personal growth, social development, and community engagement.
One of SAY’s flagship initiatives is Team Programme Malaysia, a transformative nine-week youth development programme designed to equip young people with the personal, social, and employability skills needed to progress into Employment, Education, or Training (EET). Delivered through five structured stages, the programme enables participants to build confidence, resilience, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills while developing a renewed sense of purpose. Since its implementation in 2020, Team Programme Malaysia has supported vulnerable and at-risk youth by providing holistic personal development opportunities that empower them to overcome barriers, realise their potential, and build sustainable futures. Beyond programme completion, SAY continues to provide guidance and support to ensure participants remain on a positive pathway towards long-term success.
Building upon the success of Team Programme Malaysia, SAY is now seeking strategic support to establish an Aftercare Centre in Hulu Langat for individuals who have successfully completed rehabilitation programmes and are preparing to reintegrate into society. While rehabilitation represents a critical milestone in recovery, many individuals continue to face significant challenges, including unemployment, unstable living conditions, limited support networks, social stigma, and the ongoing risk of relapse.
The proposed Aftercare Centre aims to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and independent living by providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment where residents can continue their recovery journey. The centre will offer transitional accommodation, employment placement and career support, life skills development, mentoring, counselling, and meaningful community engagement opportunities. By addressing both personal and socioeconomic challenges, the centre will empower residents to rebuild their confidence, strengthen their resilience, and become self-sufficient, productive members of society.
Through this initiative, SAY seeks to create a sustainable pathway for long-term recovery and successful social reintegration. By extending support beyond rehabilitation, the organisation aims to ensure that every individual is equipped not only to overcome addiction but also to achieve lasting independence, meaningful employment, and a renewed sense of purpose within the community.

Selangor Youth Community (SAY), in collaboration with its valued partners, successfully organised the Selangor Crown Prince Golf Charity Cup 2025 on 29 November 2025 (Saturday) at Kota Permai Golf & Country Club. The prestigious tournament was graced by His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Crown Prince of Selangor, whose continued patronage reflects a strong commitment to youth empowerment and community development across Selangor.
The 2025 edition brought together 136 golfers representing 37 companies, uniting corporate leaders, partners, and supporters for a day of friendly competition while championing a meaningful cause. More than just a golf tournament, the event served as a platform to foster collaboration, strengthen corporate partnerships, and raise support for initiatives that create positive opportunities for Malaysian youth.
Proceeds from the tournament continue to support the TEAM Programme Malaysia, an initiative dedicated to empowering young people through education, employability, personal development, mentorship, and community engagement. Through the generosity of participating companies and players, the tournament reinforces a shared vision of creating brighter futures and enabling young Malaysians to realise their full potential.
