DYTM Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and Selangor Youth Community (SAY) attended the closing dinner for Asia Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) 2019 in Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) last evening, with SAY acting as the Strategic Parner for the programme.
A shooting session on the preservation of Malayan tigers was held by DYTM Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah AlHaj earlier today at the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) together with NGO Tiger Protection Society of Malaysia (Rimau) and the Crown Prince’s very own Selangor Youth Community (SAY).
His Royal Highness wholeheartedly supports RIMAU’s cause in saving Malaysian tigers and their habitat, as well as the conservation and preservation of the nation’s biodiversity and bountiful forests.
Marking His Royal Highness’ first ever visit to FRIM, the Crown Prince was met with a warm welcome by Dato’ Dr Abd Latif Mohmod, Director General of FRIM, and Lara Ariffin, Director of Rimau.
The Director General of FRIM also presented His Royal Highness with Teh Anggerik, a herbal teablend produced by FRIM, as well as books titled ‘Sinonim Nama Tempat dengan Nama Tumbuhan’ and ‘FRIM Warisan Kebangsaan’.
