FA Selangor Training Centre Launching

The launching of Football Association of Selangor’s (FAS) new training and office complex was officiated by DYTM Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, the Crown Prince of Selangor, on 24th July 2019 in a simple ceremony observed by sponsors, association excos, staff members and media representatives.

The new FAS Training Centre located at the SUK Sports Complex includes an office complex, gymnasium, physiotherapy treatment area, locker rooms, showers, training pitches and a lounge area, all of which covers 400,000 square feet of grounds in Section 5, Shah Alam.

Highlighting nearly 83 years of club history, the RM1.5million state-of-the-art red and yellow facility gathers players, administrators and coaches under one roof, a vast improvement over situations of yesteryears when FAS operated from a humble office in Kelana Jaya while players were training in modest pitches elsewhere.

Green-lit by the state government and built in partnership with Vizione Holdings Berhad, the new facility is step 1 out of 5 in FAS’ core pillars strengthening plan, a huge step forward by the association in its transformation process kick-started by the DYTM’s appointment as its president last year.
