Project Revamp aims to revitalise community spaces by repairing, upgrading and beautifying current facilities and infrastructures. HH Tengku Amir Shah introduced Project Revamp as he sees the importance of these community spaces as platforms for youth to come together and express themselves in a safe and healthy environment.
Extreme Park in Seksyen 13 Shah Alam has been identified by HH Tengku Amir Shah as the perfect venue to kickstart the Project Revamp series as the venue has great potential to become a key community hub but is currently under-utilised and not well maintained. Together with community volunteers and MBSA, a lot of efforts have been put in the last week of May 2016 to install new lights and signage, add new recycling bins, construct a new stage, paint new murals, repair skate ramps and many others.
Project Revamp @ Extreme Park will conclude with the unveiling of the revamped Extreme Park to stakeholders and volunteers on the 29th May 2016. In conjunction with the unveiling of Extreme Park, DYTM will also take the opportunity to officially launch Selangor Youth Community (SAY) and announce the inaugural ‘Community Crowdsourced Programme’ by SAY. Below are the details of the event:
Date: 29th May 2016, Sunday
