HH TENGKU AMIR SHAH IBNI SULTAN SHARAFUDDIN IDRIS SHAH AL-HAJ

Founder and Executive President, Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj is the current Raja Muda (Crown Prince) of Selangor. D.Y.T.M. Tengku Amir Shah was born on 12 December 1990, as the third child and first son of Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj.

D.Y.T.M. Tengku Amir Shah attended Wellington College in the United Kingdom and graduated in 2009. D.Y.T.M. Tengku Amir Shah graduated from the University of Leeds in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology. D.Y.T.M. Tengku Amir Shah then underwent a stint in the Malaysian army before enrolling in The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst where officers are trained to take on the responsibilities of leading soldiers under their command. D.Y.T.M. Tengku Amir Shah graduated in April 2016.

In 2014, D.Y.T.M. Tengku Amir Shah envisioned a more vibrant youth society in Selangor through various programmes, events and activities. This is where the idea of SAY Community was born to promote a much more engaged and exciting youth community, by youth, for youth.

D.Y.T.M. Tengku Amir Shah is really passionate about youth development and environmental sustainability amongst others. Cycling is one of D.Y.T.M. Tengku Amir Shah’s favourite sports and currently Tuanku Raja Muda spearheads the Selangor state football team nicknamed The Red Giants.
