Selangor Champions League
Currently, in its 3rd year running, Football Selangor (FS) is the first brainchild of SAY’s Sports & Wellness focus area. FS practises a bottom up approach, growing the football scene in Selangor. FS has initiated Selangor Champions League, the most prestigious amateur football tournament in Selangor. The league focuses on areas such as standardisations, regulations, exposures and developments.
Selangor Criterium Series
Cycling Selangor (CS) plays a pivotal role in facilitating and connecting various cycling communities within Selangor to unearth and develop the next cycling world champion hailing from Selangor. CS has brought programmes such as the ‘Selangor Criterium Series’ (SCS) to empower the bicycle racing culture by providing a year-long calendar of events and races.
SAY LEAD
Marketed as SAY’s Leadership Entrepreneurship Acceleration and Development League, SAY LEAD is an entrepreneurship league specifically designed for differently abled entrepreneurs (OKU entrepreneurs) to assist them obtaining sustainable incomes through businesses.
SAY Aspire
SAY’s signature export ready programme, SAY ASPIRE is a game changing business expansion programme that accelerates the growth of Selangor entrepreneurs to become global champions through strategic export and business improvement plans.
SCREAM Edutainment
In partnership with Drug Free Youth Association (DFYA), SCREAM Edutainment is a three-pronged outreach programme providing skill-based training, capacity building and leadership development for youth at risk by cultivating music interest among them. This is done through meaningful activities such as music mentoring, instrument training and vocal classes. Throughout the programme, various distinctive modules are included providing mentoring and life coaching for the youth.
Buka Pentas
A bi-monthly grassroots art event that showcases local artists and performers to expand their horizons to renewed audiences. Buka Pentas is a platform which brings together different genres of music in an alternative art scene that is enriched with a creative bazaar and art exhibition. Buka Pentas acts as an outreach program to scout for new talents and these talents will be highlighted in our annual event Rantai Art Festival.
Rantai Arts Festival
Rantai Art Festival is a yearly arts festival that focuses on uplifting new talents. SCREAM and Rantai Kolektif collaborated to organise a 3-day festival focusing on discussion of contemporary visual arts, traditional and modern artistic performances to celebrate the various social activities made by the youth. Rantai Art Festival presents local identities in an international format, separated into 4 main programmes which are performing arts, visual arts, workshops and creative marketplace.
Sunway SILK
Adopt is a new initiative aims to strengthen the private-public relationship through sustainable engagements. For 2019, Sunway SILK (Sunway Seeding Inspiration and Leadership via Knowledge) is a corporate initiative designed for Sunway Group to empower local communities through knowledge transfer and meaningful values by promoting corporate volunteerism with agriculture as a tool to bridge the gap.
PTI x SAY
A new partnership with Prince’s Trust International which aims to provide second chances to the youths at-risk through a 12-week programme to uncover hidden talents, develop teamwork and communication skills, as well as prepare them to rejoin society either through employment, entrepreneurship or education opportunities.
Kloth Cares
A fabric recycling movement in partnership with Kloth Cares, an entity that aims to reduce landfills has reached a milestone of 270,000 kg of unwanted fabrics collected and diverted from landfills. That is equivalent to what would be disposed of by 36,348 people in Klang Valley in a month.
Sunway Soapful
An environmental and entrepreneurial based initiative that attempts to benefit the environment by removing soap waste from landfills and knowledge transfer to empower underprivileged communities with meaningful business skills and social mobility
Special Festivity Projects
Special projects are conducted during celebrating months, such as the annual Ziarah Ramadhan through renovation and beautification of area to provide comfortable living space. Meanwhile the Iftar@Palace is to strengthen ties with every stakeholders involved to embrace the spirit of togetherness. We also host any partnership event for the benefit of the deserving community.
SAY Ignite
A one-day state wide festival featuring fun run, talks, performances and competitions with established and upcoming local youth icons. The festival also celebrated the achievements of talented local talents through the exhibitions and the various competitions. SAY Ignite championed the principle of inclusiveness in diversity, opening its arms to youth of all abilities to join in and celebrating strength of Selangor as a diverse state with citizens from various backgrounds, ethnicities as well as age groups.
Selangor Modest Fashion
Inspired by the Selangor State Government's agenda to make Selangor as the modest fashion hub in the region, The Selangor Modest Fashion is a premium avenue to provide opportunities for established designers, up-and-coming designers as well as technical experts in the fashion industry to showcase their exquisite craftsmanship and workmanship through bespoke pieces
